Panna Cotta




Whee! Panna Cotta! One of my fave dessert!
I put coulis on top and let it pour down on 1 side, I even put some microherbs there. Then I put the strawberry pineapple salsa~! And so, no further description, cuz it's all pretty clear right? LOL.
And so, what I don't really get it was: my chef said "your plated dessert is too simple". Well, I like it simple without messy garnishes like a child eating an unfinished plated dessert. Oh yea, some people like it so messy and full of this and that, but I don't like it. I like it simple —like I said— and elegant. And my chef said to me "you should go look into google or read some books related to garnish, you know. Because all of your product is good, the taste are always incredible, but your garnishing skill is too low." I even remember clearly what the chef said.
One thing I wanna ask you guys: is this plated dessert looks so bad?
